So much color at the Oscars
I thought it was pretty great to see so many fab ladies at the Oscars in stones other than “the girls best friend!” I adore colored stones and am happy to see them in the spotlight. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
Natalie Portman in Tiffany & Co. tassel earrings. Classic style for such a classic gal.
How awesome is Melissa Leo’s spider necklace by Jay Carlile for Forevermark? Spooky sparklie.
Marisa Tomei’s Van Cleef & Arpels earrings and matching bracelet look grandma’s closet fabulous.
I LOVE Emma Stone’s Van Cleef & Arpels green tourmaline and diamond cocktail ring from the L’Atlantide Collection.
I don’t know about you, but I’m a Gwynnie fan. She always does it right in the lime light. Her Louis Vuitton earrings are funky and cool.
Scarlett Johansson’s tiny ruby stud earrings and a dragon flower ruby ring from the Anna Hu Haute Joaillerie collection are an interesting selection. Those earrings are so small – I bet we will be seeing more of these tiny colored stone studs in the future. Super easy to wear and not expensive. I am in the market for a pair of aquamarine studs myself…
Amy Adam’s emerald and diamond necklace from Cartier is also an interesting choice. The more covered-up red carpet look is super classy, and this necklace looks very sophisticated and glamorous.
